Staging The Bathroom

The bathroom is one of the most important rooms in a house. The other very important room is the kitchen. Here are the before pictures of my bathroom. I had already begun striping the wallpaper off the walls when I took these pictures.

Jill's Suggestions:

Get vintage robe hanger and hang a fresh white robe on it

Beige bathmat

White towels and washcloths
- Roll washcloths and place in basket with other spa-type items and place on shelf

Paint crown molding white

Take down things hanging on back of door

Paint bathroom a light beige color

Get a new shower curtain

Get rid of the flowers under the shelf

All new linens are only used for staging. Otherwise they are stored away and never used.

What I did:
May 2008

Bought 1 gallon of "oops" paint - light beige - at Home Depot for $5

Bought 1 white bath towel, 1 white hand towel, and 2 white face cloths all Egyptian cotton for a total of $12.60 at Big Lots.

Rolled face cloths and place them in a basket I already had along with a new loofa, pedicure wand, and handmade soap (all I ready had).

Spa Basket
