Great job today! I would look into original flavor soy milk (not rice milk) for less sugar and fat than skim milk.

Also we have got to find you something to put on your salads. :)

OH! Skim milk has no fat :)

I’m going to switch that cereal and eat 1/2 serving of o-rings so I can have something else to eat later on in the day. Also, once that pasta sauce is gone, I’m getting one that doesn’t have so much sugar. I think those three thing are limiting food choices…

I’ve been hungry these past two days. Part of the problem is adjusting. I don’t have enough healthy foods in my home to choose from. I need to scour the supermarket for some other alternatives that will make me feel full.

I did this about 6 years ago. I don’t recall feeling so hungry. In fact, I remember saying as much to my doctor. I gave up because my cholesterol number only dropped one point after three months. I did lose about 30 pounds and my triglycerides dropped nicely. The cholesterol number really bugged me & I basically gave up.

I’m getting married next year. Michael & I are planning a baby or two. I need to get this under control now because I can’t take the cholesterol meds when I’m pregnant. Although, to tell the truth, the particular med I’m on right now isn’t working on the cholesterol number. It works well on the triglycerides, though. :)

We’ll see what the numbers look like in Sept.

And I agree, as you said in our IM, being hungry is the quickest way to fail. Yup. Gotta find stuff that makes me feel full.

Yes, absolutely. You need to be full and sated. We all do. This is why diets fail. I think having this blog will make a huge difference - you can experiment and tweak things each day.

I wish I lived locally so I could go food shopping with you. I have been working the low carb angle now for three years and could help you. :)

OK, I had the pudding & the strawberries. Note to self - eat strawberries before eating pudding. LOL Now, I don’t feel hungry. :)
