The mrs dash on the potato sounds good too.

I was a bit hungry in the morning. I went to church, so no morning snack & then went out to eat at Wendy's and had a plain baked potato with one pat of their Best Buttery Spread and put Mrs Dash on the potato. I also had a side salad. I picked out the tomatoes - don't like tomatoes oddly enough.

Was out shopping until about 3pm. I was a bit hungry when I came back so had the tricuits & banana.

I really wanted pizza and was even checking out the local pizza chain to see the nutritional info on their food. LOL

I ended up going down to the supermarket and got Ellio's pizza which is $2.50 for 9 slices. It's that rectangular pizza. The amount of fat, sugar, and salt is doable. The pizza tastes ok, too. It's not pizza house pizza, but it's fine.

I also had room for the ice cream cone. YUM! Was going to have some veggies later on, but I just wasn't hungry. Plus, I got talking to the Big M... <3 <3 <3 :D

I think your doctors are not very compassionate. Maybe they are not so great.

Having all this monitored so well will really impress them I think and should help them fine tune your health care.

I'm also keeping a simple spreadsheet of my numbers so I can easily print that off & hand it to my doctor. They keep telling me *I'm* failing the meds they put me one. I say the meds are failing me. So, I'm going to hand over the numbers of what I've been eating and maybe we can adjust the cholesterol meds from there. I may need to go on a combination of drugs to get the cholesterol and triglycerides down to appropriate levels.

This issue is genetic. All my aunts & uncles on my mom's side of the family have this issue. My uncles had heart attacks and strokes by their early 40s. :(

However, I really should do what I can and not use that as an excuse and pig out on whatever I feel like eating.

You know, I do find it interesting that not once did a doctor say to me, "Gee maybe you should cut back on salt to get your foot to stop swelling." Maybe they were confused because it's only one foot? And the swelling is on top of my foot & is also in the toes. It's really odd...

Swelling seems even better this morning. Not totally gone, not sure if it will ever be completely gone, but definitely this is much betterer. :D

This is great news! You are seeing results really fast. Yes, urine should be clear. :)

And it makes sense you are not having the heartburn with all the healthy choices you're making. Good on ya!

Your stomach will shrink also so you won't need so much to feel full as you go. That said, no one should suffer when trying to eat right. Load up on those healthy snacks. :)
